Class Schedule

I have only one ground rule in every class I teach - No one is ever wrong. Come to class just as you are and we'll move and breathe, release stress and tension and create more spaciousness and freedom in the body along the way. We may sweat a bit, too. We'll then slow things down, practice meditations to calm and quiet the mind and nerves and we'll slide gently into restorative poses as we relax, expand ease and nourish every cell in the body. The purifying and balancing sound waves of the gong end every class - sweeping and soothing the entire nervous system, creating a peaceful and harmonious space for all to relax even more deeply and effortlessly.

Come and practice with me. I teach gentle and healing-focused kundalini and restorative yoga and meditation classes at Yogaworks and Equinox locations throughout Los Angeles for all levels of practice.

You can also practice with me online, 24/7 via yogisanonymous.com.

I began my yoga journey in 1998, in the basement of the Los Angeles Times building in Downtown Los Angeles, where I worked for almost ten years. My colleague, Beth asked our team if we would be interested in practicing yoga with her once a week and she would facilitate our sessions. I’ve only taken a few yoga classes at the time and didn’t know what to expect. When she told us we were practicing kundalini yoga, I had no clue what these movements and breathing patterns would do and I absolutely had no idea how our once-a-week 60-minute lunchtime sessions would have such a deep impact on my life.

Through the kundalini yoga practice, I was inspired to support others in their healing journeys. In 2004, I discovered The Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and began my greatest adventure as a life coach. I found many amazing teachers and schools that supported my growth and healing journey along the way and continued to weave and integrate all of these amazing tools and practices.

In 2010, I graduated from Golden Bridge Yoga’s 220-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, led by Gurmukh Khalsa, Tej Kaur, Harijiwan, and Rachel Sat Siri Dougherty.

That was just the beginning. I continued my learning with Jillian Pransky (author of Deep Listening) in her Restorative Teacher Training, which completely transformed how I practiced and taught yoga and coached my clients.

In 2017, I completed the 200-hour Sacred Energy Arts Teacher Training, created and led by Matthew Cohen, who fuses qigong, tai chi and hatha yoga into a potent and nourishing practice.

I am inspired to practice with and learn from those who draw inspiration from many disciplines and traditions that reflect, deepen and expand their authentic expression, their love and joy for life and making a difference and are living and breathing models of change they wish to seek and be in the world.
